Synthesis Laboratories
SBRC has ultra modern Organic Synthesis Laboratories equipped with fuming hoods, Buchi rotavapors, oven, vacuum oven, weighing balance, melting point apparatus, Camag TLC viewing chamber and walk-in fuming hood containing 10L SS316L reactors. All reactions are carried out in hoods and only processes using water are done on an island table. The hoods are so made that no air borne chemicals contaminate the laboratory air. There is also a hydrogenation laboratory away from the main building where hydrogenation is done in (1L and 5L) autoclaves at high pressures and variable temperatures as needed.
